At Creative Driver Training, our strength lies in the dedication and expertise of our team—led by Gary Tarafder, owner and senior driving coach. Gary brings a wealth of leadership and mentoring experience from his role as a government supervisor, where he oversees the training and development of over 190 team members. His passion for coaching and helping others grow is the foundation of our driving school. With years of hands-on driving experience—including over four years as a taxi driver and thousands of kilometres on the road—Gary understands the real-world challenges of driving. His qualifications as a traffic controller further enhance his deep knowledge of road safety and traffic management. What sets Gary apart is his positive, can-do attitude and his ability to create a calm, supportive learning environment. He believes that driving is more than just a skill—it’s a gateway to independence, confidence, and new opportunities. His approach is built on encouragement, patience, and a genuine desire to see every learner succeed.

Gary is also certified in CPR and first aid, adding an extra layer of safety and reassurance for all students. Outside of driving, Gary enjoys reading, swimming, playing badminton, and connecting with senior citizens to learn from their life stories—an interest that reflects his deep respect for people and their journeys.
