We Creative Driver Training is a small local business providing exceptional service and training to our clients. We solely focus on the driving skill betterment of our trainees.
We know your urge to drive your newly bought motor vehicle. Thus, we have planned an effective course plan to feed your driving skill. No matter whether you are a newbie, a mid-level rider or an experienced one, we have something to offer you.
Our mission is to make the best motorist out of everyone who joins our driving school. Our philosophy is to train hard to achieve an easy pass at the Tasmanian Roads driving test. This is the main reason why learners’ drivers in our driving school pass the test on their 1st attempt.
Our Team
Gary Tarafder is owner and senior driving coach. Supervising and training others has been a part of my career for a long time now. I currently work for a government department as a supervisor with more than 190 team members reporting to me. I am responsible for their training and development, often assuming a mentoring role.
Becoming a driving instructor enables me to have flexibility as well as a challenge. I love time behind the wheel and interacting with people, it is extremely rewarding. I get to play a part in making someone’s life better because through driving, they gain independence and the opportunity to expand their horizons.
I have a positive can-do attitude, providing encouragement and motivation to my learners. I provide calmness, create a relaxed and comfortable learning environment to get the most out of our time together.
I bring plenty of driving experience, having been a taxi driver for over 4 years, I have travelled 1000’s of kilometres. I also hold a traffic controller’s licence, which expands my understanding of roads and traffic management. For additional comfort, I am qualified in CPR and first aid, hopefully I never need it.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, swimming, badminton and meeting senior citizens to hear their life stories. I find them really interesting.
